On the 1st of October 2004 the Zlín Region established the Zlín Region’s Representation in Brussels.



This office focuses mainly on the following activities:
• Monitoring the EU legislation, documents and press reports of all European institutions
• Monitoring new projects and opportunities
• Reports and consultation documents of specific programmes or projects
• Regular meetings with the Czech Republic’s representation in the EU for the purpose of acquiring detailed information and coordinating progress with the central government
• Meetings with selected groups of other regional representations as well as technical groups
• Organization of visits, working groups and networking
